Spin Club (Thursdays 4:00 - 5:30)

Whether your child is brand new to DJing or has already completed a session of Spin Club, this class is the perfect place to build skills and confidence. Students learn the fundamentals of mixing music, beatmatching, transitions, looping, scratching, and live performance while working at a pace that matches their experience. New DJs will develop a strong foundation, while returning students will continue advancing their techniques with new challenges and creative projects.

This class is for 8 – 13 year olds and meets Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:30.

The Drop Squad (Mondays 4:00 - 5:30)

The Drop Squad is our advanced DJ performance group for students who have completed at least two sessions of Spin Club or have received a teacher recommendation. Students continue developing advanced DJ techniques while preparing for real-world performances. Members may have opportunities to perform at BeatNest events and community gigs, gaining valuable experience playing for live audiences and building confidence as performers.

Songwriter's Collective: Foundations (Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:30)

Perfect for students who are new to songwriting as well as returning songwriters who prefer a more relaxed class pace. Students explore lyric writing, melody creation, beat making, and music production while learning how to turn their ideas into original songs. This class focuses on creativity, collaboration, and building confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

Songwriter's Collective: Advanced
(Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30)

Designed exclusively for returning Songwriter’s Collective students who are ready to take their music to the next level. This class dives deeper into the music production side of songwriting, with a greater focus on arranging, sound design, recording, editing, and producing polished original tracks. Students continue developing their songwriting while expanding the technical skills needed to bring their musical ideas to life.

Adult CDJ Workshop

Are you already a DJ and looking to up your level of professionalism. On Tuesday August 4th, you will get the chance to use club and festival standard DJ equipment. Participants will learn about exporting, CDJ set up and features and well as set transitions. 

Private Classes

Classes for private students meet on Weekends and Weekday afternoons and are typically an hour in length. The price is $50 per hour. I can also take two students at once for $35 per hour per student.
