Hello BeatNest Families!
I am still riding the high from how incredibly well our recent BeatNest showcase at the Stationery Factory turned out. If you were able to attend, you witnessed something truly special — a room full of creativity, confidence, and joy, all brought to life by our amazing students at one of the Berkshires’ most iconic music venues.
We completely packed the North Room as our Songwriter’s Collective students, DJs, and live performers took the stage to share the work they’ve been practicing and refining for weeks. Seeing 17 BeatNest students come together — some longtime friends and others meeting for the very first time — was incredibly meaningful. This was our largest showcase yet, and it truly felt like a milestone moment for the BeatNest community.
Our goal for this event was to give students an authentic artist experience, and the night delivered on every level. From an exclusive backstage green room to professional sound and lighting, to performing on a real stage in front of a full audience, the kids stepped into the role of true performers — and they rose to the occasion.
Every single student played their best that night, and I could not be prouder. Watching new and returning students support one another, cheer each other on, and share the stage reminded me exactly why BeatNest exists. The confidence, bravery, and creativity on display were inspiring.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Abe and Lisa, Tara Kerstetter, Carly Conway, Melanie Willins, and Andy from Mill Town Capital for their incredible support in helping make this show possible. I’ve received so much positive feedback from families, and this event truly would not have been the same without their generosity and encouragement. Keep your eyes peeled — information about our Spring Showcase will be coming soon!
