Winter Fun at BeatNest!

Hello BeatNest families!

What an exciting fall it’s been at BeatNest! We’ve had a packed season of creativity, learning, and community — and the highlight of it all is just around the corner. Our end-of-semester Student Showcase is happening Thursday, December 12th at The Stationery Factory, and we can’t wait to celebrate the incredible work our students have been doing.

Whether your child is currently taking classes, has participated in the past, or your family is simply curious about what we do, this event is for you! It’s a fantastic chance to see our young artists perform, share their music, and shine on stage. We’ll have food, activities, and plenty of dancing, so bring friends, family, and anyone who loves supporting local youth creativity. The more energy in the room, the better the experience for the kids!

Winter Enrollment Is Open!

If you’re already thinking ahead to the next round of classes — Spin Club (DJing) and Songwriters’ Collective — great news: registration is officially open, and families have already begun claiming their spots.

Classes will begin the week of January 5th and 6th, meeting in the evenings from 4:00–5:30 PM. If your child has been excited about music production, performance, or songwriting, this is a perfect opportunity to dive in.

You’ll also get to hear the amazing work from this semester’s students at the showcase, which is always the best inspiration for what’s possible next time around.

Welcoming Tristan to the BeatNest Team!

We also have some exciting news behind the scenes — please join me in welcoming Tristan Manzolini, our new Studio Manager! Tristan will be acting as my “second brain,” helping keep BeatNest running smoothly as we continue to grow.

She’ll be supporting with scheduling, parent communication, organizing events, and helping us prepare for upcoming classes. You’ll likely see her around the studio during class times, so please say hello and help us make her feel like part of the BeatNest family. We’re thrilled to have her on board.

In addition to Tristan, who may have also seen my high school intern Kyra around on Tuesdays! Kyra has been such an important role in helping BeatNest classes run, offering her songwriting skills to coach young songwriter’s with their craft and I am so lucky to have her!
